Returning to Los Angeles on Tuesday, August 6th, at the LINE LA, the James Beard Foundation’s annual Taste America® culinary series, presented by Capital One, will be an exciting gathering of chefs from the Los Angeles culinary community.
The walk-around tasting features chef Lord Maynard Llera of Kuya Lord—recognized as one of the industry’s finest culinary talents and changemakers as part of the Foundation’s annual class of TasteTwenty chefs—who will champion the James Bead Foundation’s mission of Good Food for Good® at this special event in collaboration with local guest chefs. The tasting will feature over eleven food and beverage stations. Each station’s offering will reflect the chef’s signature style and highlight the uniqueness of their restaurant and community, along with sponsor and partner activations.
Proceeds from Taste America events benefit the James Beard Foundation’s national impact programming in support of equity, sustainability, women’s leadership, and a future where all can thrive in the culinary industry and beyond.
