What is the hotel address?

970 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94102. The hotel entrance, valet, and drop-off are at 33 Turk Street. The LINE SF is located between Mason Street and Taylor Street.

Who are the LINE hotels owned by?

We’re part of Soho House & Co Inc., a global membership platform that connects people through digital and physical spaces that includes Soho House, and we operate properties in LA, Washington DC, Austin, San Francisco, Palm Springs (Saguaro) and New York (The Ned NoMad).

What parking options are available at the hotel?

Valet parking is available for $68 plus tax per day (includes in-and-out privileges) at the LINE SF. An additional fee applies for oversized vehicle ($15 plus tax per day). Alternatively, self-park at three nearby public parking garages (prices vary).

Is there valet parking? If so, how does the valet parking work?

Yes, valet parking is available at our Turk Street entrance for $68 plus tax per day (includes in-and-out privileges). An additional fee applies for oversized vehicle ($15 plus tax per day). Leave your car locked and parked at the entrance and bring your keys to the front desk agent. They will coordinate with our valet team. There are no hourly rates.

Can I leave my car in the parking garage after checking out? Will there be an additional charge?

No.

Is there an airport nearby?

Yes. San Francisco International Airpot (SFO) is 13.4 miles away, and Oakland International Airport (OAK) is 19.4 miles away.

What will it cost to hire a cab or town car from the airport to the hotel?

Prices vary based on traffic, time of day, and the car service used, but a ride from SFO usually ranges from $45 to $55.

Is there a major train/bus station nearby?

Yes. The LINE SF is steps from the Powell Street station (BART/Muni yellow, blue, red, and green lines).

What’s the best way to get around the city?

Walking, BART/Muni, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, Bay Wheels Bike Share, and dockless scooters and bikes from Bird, Lime, Lyft, and others.

Hotel Policies
What are the normal check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 3pm, and checkout is at 12pm.

Can you check in early?

Yes, if your room is available. A fee might be required depending on how early you’d like to check in.

How late can we check in?

Guests can check in as late as necessary — with notice — before midnight of their arrival date.

What is required to check-in?

A valid identification document and a credit card.

What type of credit cards are accepted at the hotel?

We accept all major credit cards except pre-paid debit cards and virtual cards. We do not yet accept PayPal, Cash App, Square, or Apple Pay.

Does the hotel accept traveler’s checks as payment?

No.

Can a third party pay for my reservation?

Yes. Please have the third party complete a credit card authorization form at least three days prior to your arrival. Reach out to reservations team at reservations.sf@thelinehotel.com or call 415-475-0000 to request the form.

Will my credit card be charged when I make my reservation?

If you chose a prepaid rate, your card will be charged right away. For other rates, a valid credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation, but the card is not charged at the time of booking. There are also options to pay later at the hotel.

Does the hotel require any kind of deposit prior to checking-in?

Deposits are required only on prepaid, non-refundable bookings. Please check the Deposit & Cancellation policies when completing your reservation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours before 3pm of your arrival date to avoid cancellation charges (with the exception of non-refundable bookings, which are non-cancellable). For changes made after the cancellation period, one night’s room and tax will be charged.

What is the nonrefundable reservations policy?

When a nonrefundable reservation is cancelled, the deposit will not returned. If the reservation is booked directly with the hotel, the balance may be applied to a future stay.

What happens if I damage the guest room?

Security will investigate, and guests are responsible for damages. Our smoking fee is $250.

Will I be charged for an early departure?

Early departures without a 48-hour notice will be charged for an early departure fee of one night room and tax.

Is there a limit to how long I can stay?

You may stay at the LINE SF for no more than 28 days. For stays longer than 21 days, please reach out to the hotel directly.

Hotel Amenities
What room options are available at the hotel?

We have a variety of rooms, studios, and suites with either a king bed or two queen beds. ADA-accessible rooms and suites are also available and are equipped with a roll-in or transfer shower, toilet with grab bars, lower vanity, visual alarm, and notification devices.

Are there smoking rooms? And can I smoke in public spaces?

We do not offer smoking rooms, and smoking is not allowed indoors or within 20 feet of the exterior doors. Our smoking fee is $250 for guest rooms.

Do all of your rooms have private baths?

Yes.

What type of in-room technology can I expect?

High-speed Wifi, Apple-enabled TVs, bluetooth radio with USB ports, outlets with USB ports.

I love some of the items in my room, can I purchase them and take home with me?

Yes. Items and their prices are listed in the minibar section of the compendium (scan the in-room QR code to access). The items will be charged to your credit card upon checkout.

Do you have room service?

Yes, in-room dining is available.

Can I have ice sent to my room?

Yes. You can order ice through the Front Desk or in-room dining.

Are there minibars in the rooms?

Yes.

What room amenities are available at the hotel?

High-speed Wifi, Grind espresso machine and coffee pods, curated minibar, bath robe and slippers, Cowshed bath products, in-room safe, bluetooth alarm clock, steamer, hair dryer.

Can I have my clothes laundered and dry cleaned?

Yes; additional fees apply. Please connect with the Front Desk team.

Do you have a shoe shine service?

No.

How do I schedule a wake-up call?

Please connect with the Front Desk team, and they will arrange a wake-up call for you.

If I am traveling on business, what types of services can you support me with?

Printer access is available at the front desk.

Do you have a gym or fitness center? If so, what type of equipment can I expect?

Yes. Our gym has nine cardio machines — including a treadmill, elliptical machine, and two Peloton bikes — a host of free weights, benches, a Bosu Ball, and a Barre area.

Where can I securely store my valuables?

We offer a safe in each guest room. Our bellmen can also store extra luggage before check-in or after check-out.

Can I send a package to the hotel?

Yes, you may send up to five packages. Storage fees may apply.

Can I store my luggage before I check in or after I check out?

Yes. Please connect with the Front Desk team.

Can I bring my pet to the hotel?

Yes: Pets are welcome at the LINE SF free of charge.

Is breakfast included?

No.

Do kids stay free?

Yes. There is no additional cost for children.

Does your hotel offer currency exchange?

Are extra beds or rollaway beds available?

Rollaway beds are available for a fee, and they’re subject to availability.

What does the amenity fee cover?

Our rooftop bar and solarium, Rise Over Run, serves inventive bites and panoramic views of the city, while on the ground floor, Alfred Coffee offers food and drinks to stay or go. And don’t miss cocktails at Dark Bar, our lobby-floor nook that redefines the classic hotel bar. We also offer in-room dining.

What activities are there to do at the hotel?
